Dear Reader,
Lighting plays an essential role in our experience of a building. Far beyond providing mere visibility, thoughtful lighting design can enhance architectural spaces, reinforce identity, support comfort, and improve the way people navigate, work, learn, heal, and gather. From educational campuses and healthcare facilities to workplaces, public spaces, and cultural destinations, successful lighting solutions balance aesthetics, functionality, energy performance, maintainability and long-term value.
The P2S Specialty Lighting Studio is all about creative lighting design solutions that elevate spaces while supporting operational and sustainability goals. Our lighting designers collaborate closely with owners, architects, interior designers, engineers, and contractors throughout the design process. By integrating lighting early and coordinating it with building systems, materials, controls, and user needs, the team helps create cohesive environments where illumination feels purposeful and fully connected to the overall design vision.
This issue of the P2S Magazine highlights the Specialty Lighting Studio’ s experience across a variety of markets and project types. You’ ll find photos and project profiles, a feature with our Lighting Service Leader, the latest P2S news and awards and more.
As you explore this issue, we hope one theme stands out: exceptional lighting design is both creative and highly collaborative. When lighting designers, architects, engineers, owners, and contractors work together from the earliest stages of a project, lighting becomes more than an individual building system. It becomes an integral part of the architecture, supporting the function, character, and experience of each space.
P2S remains committed to delivering lighting solutions that are visually engaging, technically sound, energy-efficient, and responsive to the needs of the people who use each facility. As always, thank you for your continued support, and we hope you enjoy this issue.
Sincerely,
+
Travis Taylor, COO
