Brad Lentz Vice President
Dear Reader,
As former leader of our Federal practice( now led by Bob Winter), I am intimately familiar with the many essential functions that government facilities perform every day. These range from national security to high-level admin operations and basic public services and community needs. Military bases, public safety facilities, courthouses, maintenance yards, administrative campuses and many other facility types must perform reliably while meeting mandates for safety, efficiency, and long-term operations. Agencies today often balance aging infrastructure, evolving standards, funding constraints, and the need to keep facilities operational during upgrades and new construction.
The P2S Commissioning team( P2S Cx) supports federal and municipal government by serving as a reliable testing, performance verification and quality assurance partner that helps bring clarity to complex projects. P2S Cx confirms that government facilities and building systems are planned, installed, tested, and operated as intended. Our commissioning team works alongside owners, designers, and contractors to support project goals related to functionality, energy performance, maintainability, and occupant comfort. Whether the project involves wholesale modernization, standalone phased renovations, or new construction, P2S Cx’ s role is to help agencies reduce risk, improve coordination, and deliver facilities that are ready to serve their nation and communities.
This issue of the P2S Magazine highlights P2S Cx’ s experience in commissioning for federal and municipally managed facilities and demonstrates the value of a coordinated, performance-focused approach to optimization and verification. You’ ll find project highlights, Cx team insights, and examples of how commissioning helps support successful outcomes for government agencies. You’ ll also be able to catch up on the latest P2S news and company awards and listen to all-new podcasts with Vice- President, Aravind Batra and Ali Sidun from our Cx team.
As you explore this issue, we hope one theme stands out: successful government projects depend on teamwork. When owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and commissioning providers work together from the outset, projects are better positioned to stay aligned through design, construction, and turnover. The result is betterperforming systems, fewer surprises, and facilities that are prepared to support the people who rely on them every day.
P2S remains committed to helping federal and municipal clients deliver projects that support reliable operations today while preparing for future needs. As always, thank you for your continued support, and we hope you enjoy this issue

Sincerely, Brad Lentz, Vice-President & Incoming President
