New Director of Project Management
Peter Sloane is our new Director of Project Management. With two decades of experience, Peter has led large-scale waterfront pier design and honed deep expertise in, among other specialties, federal projects and HVAC design. Known for his dedication to mentoring staff and active involvement within our Project Management support team, we’ re proud to see Peter continue to make a strong impact at P2S.

Akshay Prabhu is our newest Design Principal. Design Principals serve as trusted technical leaders, guiding our most complex and high-impact projects. Akshay’ s appointment reflects both his proven expertise and our confidence in his ability to help lead our continued growth. Akshay is widely respected for the exceptional technical depth and thoughtful guidance he brings to the table.

Steven Peterson has been named one of CSULB’ s 49 Under 49 Honorees! Each year, CSULB recognizes outstanding alumni under 49 who are making a meaningful impact in their communities and industries. As the Director of Electrical Infrastructure at P2S, Steven embodies the spirit of this award by leading complex infrastructure projects and delivering resilient systems that power universities, ports, and civic institutions across the region. Steven’ s commitment to excellence, both in his professional leadership and community involvement, reflects the values we strive for at P2S.

We also have two new Studio Leaders, Kris Schaffer and Michael Nguyen!
Kris steps into the role, bringing a diverse background from the commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors across no less than three of our offices! Over the years, he’ s honed a collaborative, people-first approach that he’ ll continue to bring to leading our team members and interns.
Backed by over a decade of experience, Michael specializes in aerospace, industrial, laboratory, central plant, and higher education projects. An active member of ASHRAE, he’ s earned a strong reputation for his technical excellence in high-quality project delivery and his strengths as an active, hands-on mentor.
