CENTRAL PLANT SUPPORT SERVICES
P2S Engineering’ s Central Plant Support Services( CPSS) was designed to serve the varied operational, practical, needs of facility clients. CPSS works directly with operating crews, machinery service vendors, automation teams, helping to ensure that their respective missions are fluidly integrated and successfully completed, cost effectively meeting the needs of the facility client. CPSS is led by David Yancosky, who brings more than 20 years experience in overseeing the operation and maintenance of facilities and central plants to existing as well as new clients.“ P2S believes that by making a concerted effort to understand the business needs of the clients, which may include helping clients define the budgetary components of their HVAC platform, the overall quality and predictability of those HVAC platforms will improve,” remarks David.
Prior to joining P2S, David oversaw the operation and maintenance of central plants which provided district heating and cooling to a variety of industries, including aerospace, hospitality, entertainment, and education.
David has engaged in all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance activities; developed and extensively used computerized maintenance management systems; overseen successful water treatment programs; produced localized procedures that best ensured regulatory compliance; developed and implemented central plant training and operating procedures; managed all aspects of vendor interactions; developed and successfully executed O & M budget plans.
David has a deep understanding of the inter-relationships of resource management, energy efficiencies, and a heightened awareness of the sometimes intangible but weighty institutional concerns of facility customers. He designs and implements total optimization plans which maximize energy and resource conservation, increases equipment reliability; is focused on meeting customer budgetary goals and strives to simplify the entire process of HVAC platform-management. Now with P2S Engineering, David has provided critical augmentation and support services to a local community college that required, but did not posses, central plant experience. David is currently supporting an international airport with their central plant and facility needs. Previous to David’ s commercial experience, he was a nuclear propulsion technician assigned to submarines. David is active in the Orange County Chapter of American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers( ASHRAE).
