Dear Reader,

Vice President/COO
Laboratory facility operators go to great lengths to
ensure the safety of their occupants. With potentially
hazardous materials within breathing distance of users,
lab HVAC systems must stand ready to respond to
any incident. Effective ventilation that quickly sweeps
contaminants away is a crucial safety mechanism
to cope with eventualities. Labs need optimal HVAC
equipment and utilities to provide that ventilation. They
also need utilities that allow specialized lab equipment
like fume hoods to properly function. Lab designers need
to take these special considerations into account, while
also delivering the most efficient systems possible, as for
more conventional buildings.
P2S does exactly that. With recent successes at UC Irvine
and Sacramento State currently under construction
and more projects in design, the P2S Laboratory Group
has been busy and shows no signs of slowing down.
Accordingly, this issue of P2S Magazine highlights our
laboratory design personnel, unique capabilities and
paradigm shifting projects. We speak with Laboratory
Market Leader, Nathan Ho, and highlight choice
laboratory projects of which we are especially proud.
As always, please enjoy reading this issue of P2S
Magazine. I hope that you are well on your way to
achieving your 2019 goals and enjoy a lovely spring.
Sincerely,
3
