Editor’ s Note

Dear Reader,
Brad Lentz Vice President
Did you know there are over 90,000 municipalities, counties, townships and other special-purpose governing bodies in the United States? These local governments form the foundation of our social, economic and governmental systems and more often than not, they have a more tangible impact on residents than farther flung state and federal entities. This is especially true in the day-to-day, where cities and counties provide essential services such as policing and public safety, road maintenance, utilities like water, gas, and garbage disposal, emergency medical response, and more.
Just as cities and counties serve and respond to the needs of their residents, P2S serves our county and municipal clients in a similar manner. We help build better communities by delivering MEP, technology and fire protection engineering, commissioning, and construction management services that keep existing local government facilities operational and get new and renovated buildings and infrastructure up and running.
P2S and the nationwide Legence network are partners for mission-critical facility performance, and this issue of P2S Magazine dives into our work in the municipal market. Read on to learn about recent project successes in the cities of Indio and Santa Clarita, CA and Bothell, WA, discover how our technology designers are making civic spaces more accessible and listen to a new podcast featuring Senior Technology Designer, Michael Dannenberg, on the increasingly important role technology systems are playing in communities and local government facilities.
You may also have heard about Legence becoming a public company and upcoming leadership changes at P2S. We have an insightful Q & A session with incoming COO Travis Taylor, where he discusses these developments and anticipates some of the questions you may have.
This year has been one of exciting changes for our company, and as we reach the tail end of 2025, we’ re working tirelessly to ensure that you, our valued clients, receive the solutions you need from us and that you’ re also informed of new developments as they occur. With autumn now upon us, we hope you’ ll enjoy the many comforts of the fall season with your family and friends. Thank you always for your continued support.

Sincerely, Brad Letnz, Vice-President
