Editor ’ s Note

Dear Reader ,
Kent Peterson Vice President & COO
2020 has been a challenging year for all of us . While the pandemic has affected each individual and business differently , its reach was truly felt everywhere and by everyone . P2S was no different , and we quickly enacted policies to safeguard employee and client health while maintaining our quality standards . We are so grateful to our clients and employees for allowing us to press on during such challenging times . We can ’ t thank you enough .
With the end of the pandemic in sight , we have begun planning for our post-pandemic future . Our laboratory design studio was rising steadily even before COVID , but the past year ’ s events brought increased focus to lab and cleanroom facilities . Accordingly , we have renamed the Laboratories market “ Science and Technology .” We feel that this name better captures the broad range of active projects performed by the former lab design studio .
As you may have guessed , this issue of P2S Magazine focuses on the newly renamed Science and Technology market . We feature exciting science and technology projects from Southern California and Seattle , go in-depth with a comprehensive case study , introduce new services and present the latest P2S news and awards .
As always , we hope you find something worthwhile in this issue of P2S Magazine . Please stay healthy as we navigate towards the end of this pandemic . We ’ re looking forward to finally joining together sometime in 2021 .
Sincerely ,
Kent Peterson
