IF YOU LIKE STATS : Rocklands Farm Winery manages 90 acres—34 acres of their own and 56 leased. The estate house, barn
(event space, market and tasting room), out buildings, winery production facility, and customer areas occupy approximately
11 acres, while 68 acres of pasture and savannah forest are set aside for grazing sheep, cattle, pigs and chickens. The vine-
yard occupies another nine; one more is for growing flowers for weddings and events, and the last acre is an orchard.
What awaits your discovery is the unfolding
dream of agripreneurs Greg Glenn and Shawn Eu-
bank, cofounders of Rocklands Farm Winery, along
with three generations of Glenn family members,
the owners of the land, and their various farm
enterprises. The mission and underlying purpose of
Rocklands, which had its start in 2010, is summed
up in three simple words: feed, nourish, engage.
Everything at Rocklands reflects these guiding
principles in authentic experiences of delicious
farm fresh food, community sharing, and an invita-
tion to explore. “We have a deep passion for what
we do and believe that our farm is one of the best
platforms for people to intimately experience the
dynamic, complex, and wonderful process of food,”
says CEO Greg Glenn.
If you are a first timer to Rocklands, “Fridays
on the Farm” is a good recommendation. It’s when
the farm really rocks. Cut across the grass from its

ample parking areas, past the estate house toward
the big red circa-1800 barn where live music hap-
pily wafts over the scene. Picnic tables are scat-
tered about and there’s plenty of room for families
and friends to sprawl out on blankets in the grassy
areas. With bucolic views of the vineyard and
woods beyond, it’s where the action is, from enjoy-
able conversations around a good bottle of wine, to
airborne beanbags in a rousing game of corn hole,
to kids feeding adorable ducks waddling up from
the pond in quacking anticipation.
If sampling small-batch, handcrafted wines
sounds like fun, arrive in the afternoon. Wine
tastings run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Wednesday
through Sunday. After 5:00 it’s wine by the glass
or bottle. To further complement the select wines,
there’s delectable charcuterie of carefully selected
artisan cheeses, crackers and cured meats.
But wait…there’s more!
