Skin cancer this summer: Our top anti-ageing tips!

INTERNAL HYDRATION

Skincare is not just topical – hydration and good skin go hand-in-hand. Great skin starts within! Make sure to get enough hydration through the warmer months of summer for total topical dewy skin. Hydrated skin is healthy skin and is the first step to avoiding dehydration, fine lines and wrinkles. HYDRATE

Exposure to sun, chlorine, and salt water can cause skin to become especially dry. A moisturizer, such as Advanced AHA Hand & Body Revitalizing Lotion, which contains AHAs, can plump dry skin, helping it to instantly appear less wrinkled, while continued use can help stimulate the production of new collagen.

Wear topical non-chemical sunscreens. Chemical sunscreens are more likely to cause allergic reactions or irritate the skin but the formulations are often lighter and easier to apply. Non-chemical sunscreens (physical sunscreens) are less likely to cause skin reactions.Cleanse thoroughly after wearing sunscreen on the face. If left on the skin it will clog pores resulting in breakouts.
