HELP AND SUPPORT Getting the support you need just the way you want it When our circumstances change as a result of bereavement, we may lose more than our loved one. Perhaps daily tasks such as taking care of our home or going out to appointments becomes difficult. Maybe our loss means that there are fewer visitors and activities to look forward to, and we end up feeling lonely or isolated. It can happen to anyone, and it can feel overwhelming and have a profound effect on our health. If you recognise some of the above and want to talk about what support is available near to where you live, you can ring our friendly team of advisors who can help. By ringing us for a chat you can let us know about your situation and what support or advice you’d like, without having to commit to anything unless you want to. Our advisors are trained to listen to you and think about what might work for you, and help with advice and information.
