Maxwell always had a fasination in education and wanted to go further in education. In 2013, Maxwell traveled to Fiji sto start studying Theology, History and English at college. While at college, he had a passion so he decided to join the football team. Sadley during a football game he fractured his knee really badley and was flown back to his home town and had to end his education in Fiji. He was very upset but it got worse, Whilst gardening he re injured his knee and was flown out to he capital hospital and sadley he had to get his leg amputated.

After going through a lot, Maxwell never gave up and he saw an advertisment for YCV (Youth Challenge Vanuatu) and they help young people and provide them with training and he saw this as a chance to carry on his education and maybe get a career out of it. YCV saw what maxwell has been through and decide to make Maxwell a motivational speaker to show people that no matter what you go through, dont give up.

As part of the program, Max completed an internship with the Vanuatu Society for People with a Disability (VSPD), supported by a stipend paid by Oxfam. He later got his current job with the VSPD.

This story is so insirational because maxwell went through so much and never thought to give up.
