I n 2018, new OWPG member Alex Roddie completed the Grande Traversée du Mercantour, a long-distance hike in the Maritime Alps. He published his first feature about this trail in Sidetracked magazine and has another due in The Great Outdoors. He also visited the Karwendel Mountains in Austria. In 2019 he plans to attempt a winter Cape Wrath Trail and, as well as further writing about his long-distance walks, Alex will be editing several books for his editorial clients.
