hat on recently, producing
his 11th annual ACID (Archaeology
& Conservation in Derbyshire)
magazine for Derbyshire County
Council and the Peak District
National Park, including an exclusive
interview by Roly with TV historian
Dan Snow. And he’s already got BBC
Coast archaeologist Neil Oliver in
the bag for next year’s edition and
has just lined up another interview
for a future edition with the popular

Institution’s Christmas Lectures
Roly had also edited A Village
Life: Hartington 1933-55 for former
colleague Richard Gregory of the
Hartington Local History Group,
which was launched at Hartington
Village Hall on January 15, and he is
also busy planning the 2019 Spirit
of Kinder event, which will be held
in The Winnats Pass at Castleton on
Saturday, April 27.
