I t ’ s walking season for Rob in the Brecon Beacons . He ’ s leading various themed walk and talks ( Crickhowell and Talgarth walking festivals ) as a way of engaging those interested in a dynamic countryside about to undergo great change . The Times has hosted a few more of his letters – rural housing dilemmas , more diverse forestry , and hedgehog ’ s habitat – taking an oblique view of entrenched positions and bringing his total to 108 letters published to date . The first day of Hay Literary Festival on the 25 th May is based on agrictech taking the pressure off the environment - perhaps even to free up more space to rewild . That ’ s if we can get over our differences in how land can be utilised by a range of multi land users .
