Lake District trai
A mbleside local Kingsley Jones has written a trail and fell running guidebook to the Lake
District, to be published by Cicerone in April 2017. The book features his forty favourite routes in the national park, advice on adapting technique for running in the mountains, and a history of fell running.
This project is the culmination of several years of work, and Kingsley also works as an UIMLA International Mountain Leader, guiding running groups both in the Lake District and the Alps. A key focus of the book is to encourage the environmentally sensitive and financially supportive use of the national park.
