eter Naldrett is
preparing to launch a
new guide to the Lake
District featuring walks
to ‘Secret Tarns.’
There’ll be 25 hikes in the
book, which is to be published by
Sigma Press. Each of the tarns,
which are glacial lakes, are located
away from roads and can only be
seen on foot – hence why they are
called secrets!
And what great secrets they are,
with these walks providing some
of the best scenic views available
in the country. It took Peter over a
year to put the book together and
