Owning it my way to true success
Developing and using all my potential has always been my major drive, while money was my unconscious saboteur.

Big, cheerful eyes looking into the world and a smile on my face, as I allow curiously how this new experience is landing on my head. This picture (on the next page), where I am only one year old, shows me! Next year, I'll be turning fifty, and sometimes I wonder why it took me so long to see myself for the person I am, to own my "shit" and "qualities," to feel one with who I am. For as long as I can remember, I've been kind of lost and therefore a conscious student of life, curious about what drives people to do the things they do so I could learn how to live my own life.

As I look back, I see how I struggled to fit the mold (with no success), while it was my life's intention to create without boundaries and just be. While I learned how to trade my time and qualities for money and experienced how cash was a huge stress factor to my family's happiness, I developed a longing for financial independence and a dislike for money at the same time because of its power to disharmonize if you don't know how to change this.

Creation has nothing to do with money; the reward for bringing value with that creation does. In my small business that I had for years, I was creative, surfing the waves of the curve, giving value, and still, I managed to end up with a nagging feeling of lack. The compensation for my effort was too little. I created value but did not evaluate it properly as I was tagging it with a lower price than I should. As you can guess, this vicious cycle maintained itself-until I had enough and quit.

So, finding a way to be totally free in spirit, writing, sharing, and expressing what I want while creating value for women around the globe in a way that makes me happy and allows me to be there for my family is a dream coming into being. I know this is me, this is what I have to offer. In my view, this is true success. Money is coming as a result of me living my fullest potential and serving others. I started my online business, "You Own It Your Way," where I am publishing Ownit Magazine and guiding women to find their own way. For, ultimately, I am a connector. Someone who is driven by creativity, freedom, and the love for people. I like to help you find direction or lead you to the next step. On my path, I've had so many helpers because true success is a team effort. I am grateful for each one of them and for a very supportive husband, who kept faith in me.
