Developed by Music Director Laureate Marin Alsop and BSO English Horn Jane Marvine in 2010 , the BSO Academy Orchestral Program is one of the country ’ s leading intensive orchestral experience for avocational musicians . This program allows musicians of all levels to leave their day jobs and everyday lives behind to sit side-by-side with the musicians of the BSO . Join the program ’ s final performance led by Assistant Conductor Jonathan Rush !

Join the BSO at Oregon Ridge Park for our annual Star-Spangled Spectacular featuring patriotic favorites and closing with a spectacular fireworks display !
The celebrations continue in a patriotic performance at Boordy Vineyards on July 7 , with their original wines to drink on site . Please note that there will not be fireworks at Boordy Vineyards .
