Daniil Trifonov
Lawrence Loh
Lawrence Loh is Music Director of Symphoria and the West Virginia Symphony . Loh concluded his tenure as Music Director of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic in 2017 and has an ongoing association with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra .
Loh ’ s previous positions include Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Syracuse Opera , Resident Conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra , Associate Conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra , and Associate Conductor of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra .
Having a particular affinity for pops programming , Loh has been engaged for repeat performances with Chris Botti , Idina Menzel , and Ann Hampton Callaway . An avid guest conductor , his recent engagements include the Seattle Symphony , San Diego Symphony ,
Lawrence Loh
and the Grant Park Festival . His summer appearances have included Bravo ! Vail , Aspen Music Festival and School , The Mann Center , and Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Orchestra .
Loh has received degrees from Yale University , Indiana University , and the University of Rochester .
