About the Artists
Andy Einhorn
Leading Broadway
Music Director Andy
Einhorn directs
concerts this year with
the St. Louis, Santa
Barbara and South Dakota symphony
orchestras. At Aspen Music Festival and
School, Einhorn led performances of
Sondheim’s A Little Night Music and a
concert performance of South Pacific.
Einhorn returns to Blossom Music
Festival to lead the Cleveland Orchestra
in a concert performance of South Pacific.
Most recently he served as the Music
Supervisor and Musical Director for the
Broadway productions of Carousel and
Hello Dolly! Einhorn’s previous Broadway
credits include Holiday Inn, Woody
Allen’s Bullets Over Broadway, Rodgers
and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Evita,
Brief Encounter, The Light in the Piazza
and Sondheim on Sondheim.
Since 2011, Einhorn has served as
Music Director and pianist for Audra
McDonald, performing with her at such
prestigious orchestras as the New York
Philharmonic, Boston Pops Orchestra,

Philadelphia Orchestra and San
Francisco Symphony.
Recording credits include Audra
McDonald’s Sing Happy with the New
York Philharmonic; Carousel featuring
Renée Fleming; Hello Dolly! featuring

Cinderella; Evita; Sondheim on
Sondheim, which received a Grammy
nomination; Stage Door Canteen; and
McDonald’s Go Back Home.
Andy Einhorn is an honors graduate of
Rice University in Houston, TX.
The Baltimore Choral Arts Society
(BCAS), now in its 54 th season, is one of
Maryland’s premier cultural institutions.
The Symphonic Chorus, Chorus and
Chamber Singers perform throughout
the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as in
Washington, D.C., New York and in
Europe. In January of 2020, Music
Director Anthony Blake Clark will be
leading the Chorus on its England tour,
including a prestigious invitation to
perform with the City of Birmingham
Symphony Orchestra.
BCAS provides impactful music
education programs that serve youth in
and around Baltimore. These programs
include CoroLAB, a new partnership
with Overlea High School’s choral music
program; Vocal Fellows, an expanded
professional development program for
early-career singers; Student Composer
Project, a competition for high-school
and college composers; and the annual
Christmas for Kids children’s concert.
Clark is also Director of Choral
Activities in The George Washington
University’s Corcoran School of Art and
Design. He has prepared choruses for
Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Simon Halsey
and Gijs Leenaars for concerts with
internationally renowned ensembles,
including the National Symphony
Orchestra, Berliner Philharmoniker and
Rundfunk Chor Berlin.

with the BSO in January 2019, performing
