his imaginative programs, engaging
presence and determined passion for
artistic excellence and viability.
In great demand as a guest
conductor, important recent debuts
have included the Pittsburgh
Symphony Orchestra, San Diego
Symphony, Orquesta Filarmónica de
Bogotá and Fort Worth Symphony
Orchestra and returns to Arizona
Opera, Rochester Philharmonic
Orchestra and the Aspen Music
Festival and School. Upcoming
engagements include the Baltimore,
Detroit and San Diego symphonies,
as well as debuts at Miami’s Adrienne
Arsht Center for the Performing Arts,
Weidner Center for the Performing
Arts and the Mostly Modern Festival
in Saratoga Springs, NY. Terrell
debuted with the Philadelphia
Orchestra in an all-Gershwin program
in 2017, as well as debuts with the St.
Louis Symphony, Houston Symphony,
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and
the National Arts Centre Orchestra.
Terrell has led many prestigious
international organizations including
Opera Colorado; Opera Hong
Kong; the Hamilton, Rotterdam and
Rochester philharmonic orchestras;
the Eugene, Colorado and Richmond
symphonies; Minnesota Opera;
Minnesota Orchestra; Hong Kong
Sinfonietta; Milwaukee Symphony
Orchestra; Spoleto Festival; and the
Naples Philharmonic.
Scott Terrell last appeared with the BSO in
November 2018, conducting The Nightmare
Before Christmas.
