OFF THE CUFF Elgar Cello Concerto FRI, FEB 22, 8:15 PM S SAT, FEB 23, 7 PM M NICHOLAS HERSH, conductor NAREK HAKHNAZARYAN, cello ELGAR Cello Concerto Nicholas Hersh provides insight into Elgar’s beautiful Cello Concerto, which, written at the end of World War I, was his last completed work and reflects his sadness over the loss of friends and countrymen.
