She frequently collaborates with leading composers and works with orchestras and conductors at the highest level around the world. In 2008 she was awarded a prestigious MacArthur Fellowship, joining prominent scientists, writers and musicians who have made unique contributions to contemporary life. Highlights of Josefowicz’s 2017–18 season included concerts with the Los Angeles Philharmonic; Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra; and the Iceland, Boston, Lahti and Finnish Radio symphony orchestras, as well as the National Symphony Orchestra. Alongside pianist John Novacek, with whom Josefowicz has enjoyed a close collaboration since 1985, she performed recitals in Reykjavik, Leeds, Chicago,
