Troupe Vertigo
Fusing elements of cirque acrobatics,
classical dance and contemporary theater,
Troupe Vertigo brings audiences on a
spellbinding journey through the world of
artistic movement. Consisting of world-
class aerial artists, contortionists and
ballet dancers, Troupe Vertigo represents a
unique collaboration equally at home with
a full symphonic orchestra or in your local
theater. Formed in 2009 and led by Artistic
Director Aloysia Gavre and Technical
Director Rex Camphuis, Troupe Vertigo
offers multi-genre programs that are
appropriate for audiences of all ages.
On the symphonic stage, Troupe Vertigo
has created custom programs for major
orchestras, recently with Cirque Goes to
the Movies at The Philly Pops and Cirque
Goes to Broadway with Jack Every and the
Indianapolis Symphony.
Regarded as experts in their craft, Gavre
and Camphuis frequently bring their gifts
and knowledge to the film and television
industry. Recent highlights included
working with Rebel Wilson in Pitch
Perfect 2 and with Reese Witherspoon and
Christoph Waltz in Water for Elephants.
Ben Crawford
Ben Crawford began
his Broadway career
when he covered the
roles of Javert and Jean
Valjean in the original
revival of Les Misérables. Since then, his
Broadway credits include this season’s
Charlie & The Chocolate Factory
(Mr. Salt), Shrek the Musical (Shrek),
Big Fish (Don Price and Ed Bloom,
understudy) and On The Twentieth
Century (Bruce Granit, understudy
and Max Jacobs, understudy) starring
Kristin Chenoweth and Peter
Gallagher. Other on-stage credits
include Evita (Che), 110 In The Shade
(Starbuck), Next to Normal (Dr.
Madden), Titanic (Frederick Barrett),
Chasing Rainbows (Frank Gumm),
Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson),
Carousel (Billy Bigelow), A New Brain
(Gordon), Oklaho ma! (Jud), Oliver!
(Bill Sykes), Jasper In Deadland (Mister
Lethe), Merrily We Roll Along, 35MM
and Irma La Duce. He has appeared
in concert with the Indianapolis,
Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh,
Grant Park and Chicago symphony
orchestras; Rochester and Naples
philharmonics; and The National
Arts Centre in Ottawa. Soundtracks
inclue On the Twentieth, Big Fish,
Merrily, 35MM, Writing Kevin Taylor
and Frozen. Crawford also appears in
the film The Standbys, a documentary
focusing on Broadway swings, standbys
and understudies.

Ron Remke
Ron Remke currently
appears in BAZ-Star
Crossed Love at The
Palazzo Theater in
Las Vegas. He was a
member of the closing cast one of the
longest-running shows in Las Vegas,
Donn Arden’s Jubilee! and was a
soloist with the renowned Twelve
Irish Tenors. He is a frequent guest with
symphonies throughout North America
and has visited over 70 countries while
performing on-board the Silver Spirit
and the Regent Voyager as production
singer. Remke has appeared in numerous
regional productions and toured the U.S.
with Kiss Me, Kate. He is the voice of Juan
in Sonia Manzano’s No Dogs Allowed!,
and his debut CD, Broadway Classics, is
available on iTunes.

DeCicco
Christina DeCicco
has appeared with
the Indianapolis and
Edmonton symphony
orchestras and the Long Island and
Fort Wayne philharmonics. On
Broadway, she has starred as Eva Peron
in the original cast of the 2012 revival
of Evita opposite Ricky Martin, as
Arachne in U2’s Spiderman: Turn Off
the Dark and as Sister Mary Robert
(understudy) in the original cast of
Sister Act, The Musical. She has also
toured the country portraying the role
of Glinda in the Stephen Schwartz hit
Wicked. Off Broadway, audiences have
seen her as Cindy Lou Huffington in
the jukebox musical The Marvelous
Wonderettes. Regionally, DeCicco
has played such roles as Maggie in
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Triad Stage),
Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday (Asolo
Repertory Theatre), Gabriella in
Boeing Boeing (Gulfshore Playhouse),
Barbara Rose in War of the Roses
(Delaware Theatre Company), Mary
Poppins in Mary Poppins (Theatre
Under the Stars), Betty Schafer in
Sunset Boulevard (Ogunquit Playhouse)
and won a Barrymore Award for
her performances as Eponine in Les
Misérables (Walnut Street Theatre). She
received a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Wagner College.
