The BSO celebrates new music in this concert featuring Polish soprano / composer Agata Zubel and a brand new work by Syrian- American pianist and composer Malek Jandali . The program also features a special reprise of Kevin Puts ’ The City , the specially commissioned piece the BSO took to Carnegie Hall last season .

For a special treat , Nicholas Hersh will conduct his arrangement of Queen ’ s “ Bohemian Rhapsody ,” and National Parks Ranger Vince Vaise introduces Woodie Guthrie ’ s tribute to America .
