Gil Shaham, Grammy
Award-winner and
Musical America’s
“Instrumentalist
of the Year,” regularly gives recitals and
appears on the world’s great concert stages
and at the most prestigious festivals.
Mr. Shaham began 2017 with a return
to St. Paul’s Ordway Music Theater, con-
tinuing his multi-season tour of J.S. Bach’s
complete sonatas and partitas for solo
violin. He joined the St. Louis Symphony
and David Robertson with his interpreta-
tion of Korngold’s Violin Concerto and
performed Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto
No. 2 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic
under the baton of Lionel Bringuier.
The 2015 – 2016 season included ap-
pearances with the Berlin Philharmonic,
the Boston Symphony, the Los Angeles
Philharmonic and the Orchestre de Paris.
