Television credits include All My Children and appearances on the 2006 and 2009 Tony Awards. Dwayne Cooper
Dwayne Cooper got his start singing in a Christian a capella group in his hometown of Florence, South Carolina, but quickly realized that New York was where he needed to be as a vocalist and entertainer. Mr. Cooper has performed on Broadway in Motown: The Musical and Hairspray and is also an aspiring songwriter and producer. His music made the Billboard charts in the top 10 Dance Club play and also placed on the CBS hit show“ Mike and Molly.” Mr. Cooper graduated from the University of South Carolina.
Russell Fischer
Ask Russell Fischer from Broadway’ s Jersey Boys where he grew up and he answers just as a true Jersey boy would, with an exit number on the New Jersey Parkway or Turnpike. Mr. Fischer hails from Port Reading, where he launched his career in theater by pretending that his backyard shed was an amphitheater. Mr. Fischer, at 5 ' 6 " with a tenor voice and falsetto range, played Joe Pesci in the Broadway company of Jersey Boys. He spent the next six years as an understudy for Frankie Valli as well, performing the role many times. Mr. Fischer appeared in the second national tour of Big: The Musical and has worked extensively on regional stages. On film, Mr. Fischer has appeared in many indie features, including Waystation in the Stars, which played at multiple film festivals
The Doo Wop Project
and is now available on IndieFlix. On TV, he has appeared on the live Broadcast of the 2015 Belmont Stakes, the 2009 Tony Awards and Nick TV Land’ s 60 sec. sitcoms. He currently wrapped a new indie short entitled October Pain.
Dominic Scaglione, Jr.
Dominic Scaglione, Jr. most recently played the role of Frankie Valli with the Broadway company of Jersey Boys. He has also played the role in the Las Vegas and Chicago companies. Mr. Scaglione was personally asked by Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio to sing for Mr. Valli’ s induction to the New Jersey Hall of Fame. He has also performed on“ The Oprah Winfrey Show” and The Tony Awards. Early in his career, Mr. Scaglione was a member of the Sony music group called Sygnature and toured with Christina Aguilera and Destiny’ s Child. The Doo Wop Project has been a dream come true and he is proud of how far it has come.
Sonny Paladino
( Music Director, The Doo Wop Project) Sonny Paladino is the music supervisor for the Broadway bound musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of
1812 and is music director / conductor for the Broadway revival of Smokey Joe’ s Café. Recently, he was associate conductor and keyboard player for Sting’ s Broadway musical The Last Ship and was associate conductor of the Tony-winning revival of Pippin. Other Broadway credits include assistant conductor and keyboard for Jesus Christ Superstar, Billy Elliot, Grease and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Mr. Paladino played keyboards for Guys and Dolls, Mamma Mia, Promises, Promises, Addams Family and Women on the Verge and was music supervisor for Disney’ s High School Musical( which toured Italy). He has worked with the national tours of Disney’ s High School Musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Grease. Mr. Paladino has also worked with Alicia Keys, Ke $ ha and Matthew Morrison. His works as a composer include The Return of the Blue Cat, with poet F. D. Reeve. On television, he has worked on The X-Factor in Australia and The Next Big Thing. Mr. Paladino received his BFA in Jazz Piano from City College of the City University of New York.
