In 2014, Ms. Peleggi was invited to study with David Zinman in London, and again in 2016 at the Tonhalle, Zurich. In 2014, she was also invited as assistant conductor at the Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo( Osesp). Ms. Peleggi has been promoted to associate conductor for 2017. She holds a Master in Conducting from the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome and received the Diploma d’ Onore, the Chigiana’ s highest award.
In 2016, Ms. Peleggi was on the podium of the BBC Concert Orchestra, Tonhalle Orchester and Orchestra del Teatro Verdi di Trieste, while returning to both Osesp and Ospa. That same year, she was selected as a Conducting Fellow at the League of American Orchestras and toured with her mentor, Marin Alsop and Osesp as assistant conductor, at the Edinburgh International Festival, BBC London Proms and Luzerne Summer Festival.
Ms. Peleggi holds the title of Honorary Conductor from the Coro Universitario di Firenze, where she worked for 10 years as Principal Conductor and Artistic Director. In 2011, she received a special award from the Italian Government( Ministero dei Beni Culturali). She is the winner of the 2015 – 2017 Taki Concordia Conducting Fellowship and the recipient of the 2016 Bruno Walter Foundation Scholarship from the Cabrillo Contemporary Music Festival.

BSO Concertmaster Jonathan Carney is in his 16 th season with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, after 12 seasons in the same position with London’ s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Join us as we celebrate Tom Hall and his 35 years as Music Director with Baltimore Choral Arts. Tom will lead the Full Chorus and Orchestra in a program featuring diverse selections representative of his magnificent leadership, and featuring works that are particularly meaningful to both Tom and the chorus. The program will include Haydn’ s Lord Nelson Mass with vocal soloists, Copland’ s Walls of Zion, Lauridsen’ s Sure on this Shining Night, and more.
The audience is invited to a champagne reception after the concert.
