Day 1- Depart U. S.
• Overnight flight to Lima, Peru
• Arrive in Lima and transfer to hotel
Day 2 – Lima & Miraflores District

• Orientation walk through Miraflores, Lima’ s cultural and artistic center
Day 3 – Colonial Lima
• Visit a local fish market and mingle with fishermen
• Tour Larco Museum’ s pre- Columbian artifacts
• Explore Lima’ s colonial downtown
• Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant
Day 4 – Fly to Cuzco & Sacred Valley
• Fly to Cuzco, capital of the Incan world
• Descend into the Sacred Valley
• Visit Pisac ruins and explore the modern town
Day 5 – Ollantaytambo Fortress, Urubamba River Rafting & Home-Hosted Lunch
• Explore Ollantaytambo’ s ancient fortress and terraces
• Rafting trip down the Urubamba River
• Home-Hosted Lunch with a Peruvian family
Day 6 – Train to Machu Picchu
• Train ride through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
• Explore Ritual Baths, Palace of the Princess, Main Fountain, Sun and Condor temples
• Hotel near Machu Picchu for evening exploration
Day 7 – Machu Picchu Second Visit
• Return to Machu Picchu for quiet morning exploration

Day 8 – Train through Sacred Valley & Colonial Cuzco
• Train through Urubamba Gorge
• Transfer to Cuzco
