Day 1- Depart U. S.
• Overnight flight to Milan, Italy
Day 2 – Milan & Transfer to Lecco
• Arrive in Milan
• Transfer to hotel in Lecco and meet fellow travelers, including those who took our optional Italian Riviera or The Swiss Alps extensions
Day 3 – Explore Lecco
• Welcome Briefing and discovery walk of Lecco’ s historic center
• Free afternoon to explore, bike along the Adda River, or join a lake boat ride
• Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant
Day 4 – Explore Milan
• Guided walking tour of Milan’ s historic center, including the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
• Free time to explore Milan independently
Day 5 – Colico & Transfer to Tirano
• Stroll Colico’ s lakeside promenade and visit Forte Nord Montecchio
• Hike to Colico’ s town center

• Visit a mountain hamlet in the Valtellina Valley

Day 7 – Bernina Red Train to Switzerland & Home-Hosted Dinner
• Ride the Bernina Express Train across the Alps to Switzerland

Day 8 – Lake Iseo & Franciacorta Winery
• Drive to Lake Iseo and the Franciacorta wine region
