Day 1- Depart U. S.

Day 2 – Palermo

Day 4 – A Day in the Life: Castelbuono
• Visit Castelbuono, tour the medieval castle and museum

Day 5 – Monreale, Segesta & Mazara del Vallo
• Guided visit to Monreale’ s Norman Cathedral

Day 7 – Museo del Sale, Mothya Island & Cooking Lesson

• Continue to Catania

• Meet a volcanologist and learn about life near Mount Etna
Day 14 – Taormina Visit
• Visit hillside Taormina, tour Greco-Roman theater and enjoy panoramic views

Day 15 – Mount Etna Excursion & Farewell Dinner
• Excursion to Mount Etna, explore lava flows by 4-wheel-drive vehicles
