DAY 11 • Kerteminde • Ladbyskibet Viking Museum • Odense Spend the morning touring the lovely seaside town of Kerteminde , and learn about Denmark ’ s Viking past on a visit to the Ladbyskibet Viking Museum . Later , visit Odense , the birthplace of legendary author Hans Christian Andersen , where we ’ ll delve into this literary legacy on a tour of a museum dedicated to him . DAY 12 • Disembark ship • Copenhagen Disembark the ship and set off to discover Copenhagen . We ’ ll visit several iconic landmarks , including the Gelfion Fountain ; the Little Mermaid statue ; Tivoli Garden ; and Christiansborg Palace , seat of the Danish Parliament . After lunch , the remainder of the day is free for your own discoveries before our Farewell Dinner . Meals : B , D | Copenhagen Admiral Hotel or similar
DAY 13 • Return to U . S . Fly to the U . S ., or begin your Faroe Islands posttrip extension .
