DAY 12 • Svalbard We aim to take Zodiacs to a nesting site for black-legged kittiwakes. Depending on the weather, we may make multiple shore landings today. Meals: B, L, D | M / V World Voyager
DAY 13 • Svalbard We may attempt Zodiac landings on nearby islands and watch for narwhals, an Arctic porpoise famous for its prominent tooth that grows through its upper lip and gives an unmistakable unicorn appearance. Meals: B, L, D | M / V World Voyager
DAY 14 • Svalbard We’ ll have an opportunity to learn about climate change, and if we’ re lucky, we may witness calving glaciers. Later, we might take a Zodiac to shore and come face-to-face with one of these frozen giants. Meals: B, L, D | M / V World Voyager
DAY 15 • Svalbard We might land at Recherchefyorden, where piles of beluga whale skeletons can be found. These are remains from the 19th century whale slaughter, and are a reminder of the
scars that mankind has left on even the most untouched of places. Meals: B, L, D | M / V World Voyager
DAY 16 • Longyearbyen • Disembark ship • Oslo Disembark your ship in Longyearbyen for our return flight to Oslo. Meals: B, L, D | Hotel in Oslo or similar
DAY 17 • Return to U. S. Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Or, begin your post-trip extension in Copenhagen, Denmark.
