DAY 12 • Cartagena • Roman Theater • Tapas demonstration Arrive in Cartagena and set off on a tour to discover remnants of the city’ s diverse past. Visit Cartagena’ s most famous landmark— a majestic Roman Theater. Later, enjoy a tapas demonstration. A tapa is a cold or hot“ small plate” in Spanish cuisine. DAY 13 • Valencia • Paella demonstration On a tour, witness examples of everyday Valencian life and icons of the city’ s history, like La Lonja de la Seda( Silk Exchange) and the City of Arts and Sciences.
