DAY 2 • Arrive in Ulaanbaatar , Mongolia From Seoul , we fly on to Ulaanbaatar , arriving late this evening at the hotel , where we also meet the travelers from our South Korea : Seoul pre-trip extension .

DAY 3 • Ulaanbaatar • Gandan Monastery visit This morning , we ’ ll take part in a Welcome Briefing , followed by a visit to Gandan Monastery , a large , influential center of Buddhism , built in 1838 . We ’ ll enjoy the rest of the afternoon on our own , then gather tonight for a Welcome Dinner .
