DAY 2 • Arrive in Oslo, Norway Arrive in Oslo today, where you’ ll meet your fellow travelers, including those from our Copenhagen, Denmark & Overnight Ferry to Oslo pre-trip extension.

DAY 3 • Oslo • Vigeland Park Explore Oslo, including open-air Vigeland Park, the world’ s largest sculpture park featuring work by a single artist. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 4 • Oslo • July 22 Memorial • Optional Oslo Opera House tour
Enjoy an urban hike through Oslo, making our way down the Akerselva River and concluding at a local market in Mathallen. Stop by the July 22nd Memorial area to learn about the 2011 terrorist attacks in Oslo. Later, you can join an optional tour of Oslo’ s Opera House, one of the most iconic buildings in Scandinavia with an included lunch.

DAY 5 • Oslo • Borgund • The region of Flam Depart for Flam. On the way, discover Stave Church in Borgund, one of Norway’ s best-preserved wooden churches from the 1100s.

DAY 6 • A Day in the Life of the rural Flam region • Optional fjord cruise
Experience A Day in the Life of the rural region of Flam, where you’ ll visit a local sheep farm and butcher shop. This afternoon, you may choose to take our optional fjord cruise.

DAY 7 • Norway in a Nutshell tour • Bergen Today, enjoy an included Norway in a Nutshell scenic tour as we hop aboard the vintage Flam Railway.

DAY 8 • Bergen Explore Bergen this morning, including a ride on the Floibanen funicular to the top of Mount Floyen.

DAY 9 • Bergen • Controversial Topic: Salmon farming in Norway • Vik village • Embark ship
After exploring the historic Bryggen, we’ ll drive to Green Warriors to discuss the Controversial Topic of farm fishing in Norway. Then, we’ ll meet a local fisherman in the village of Vik. This evening, board your Norwegian coastal voyage ship.

DAY 10 • Coastal cruising Depending on the time of year, embark on one of three different experiences today: a cruise around Alesund during the spring, sail through Geirangerfjorden in the summer, or a cruise through Hjorundfjord in the fall.

DAY 11 • Trondheim Tour medieval Trondheim, founded in AD 997, and witness the Archbishop’ s Palace, Old Town Bridge, and historic 17th-century warehouses.

DAY 12 • Coastal cruising • Bodo • Svolvaer Dock in Bodo today, and take a discovery walk here before continuing to Svolvaer, a colorful port town framed by towering mountains.
