DAY 2 • Arrive Helsinki , Finland Arrive in Helsinki and meet your fellow travelers , including those who took our Baltic Capitals : Riga , Latvia & Tallinn , Estonia pre-trip extension . The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax and settle in .

DAY 3 • Explore Helsinki Enjoy a tour of the Finnish capital of Helsinki , including landmarks like Esplanadi park , as well as the new Oodi public library , known as the “ living room of the city .” As we explore , you ’ ll notice how integral the sea is to Helsinki , with the city spread across islands and peninsulas where various boats navigate . We ’ ll explore the uniquely designed Oodi library , a community hub where you can observe local life . We ’ ll also visit Senate Square , home to stunning Empire Neo-classical buildings , including the prominent 19th-century Lutheran Cathedral . This vibrant square serves as a gathering place for residents celebrating events like New Year ’ s Eve and Independence Day . We ’ ll conclude our tour at Market Square in the city center , a vibrant spot filled with boutique shops , souvenir stalls , vendors offering traditional Finnish cuisine , and colorful artisan craft displays .

Upon arrival in Ivalo , you ’ ll settle into your cabins , which will serve as your base for exploring this captivating region .
