Journey to a local wine domaine to spend A Day in the Life of a local wine producer . Your visit to the boutique vineyard includes a special lunch typical of the harvest season . We ’ ll also have the opportunity to create our own wine blend to take home .

DAY 12 • Train ride to Lyon Transfer to Lyon today aboard a TGV , a high-speed train that can travel at speeds up to 200 miles per hour .

DAY 15 • High-speed train to Paris • Seine River cruise
Travel to Paris via high-speed train . Upon arrival , take the Metro to Le Marais and set off on a walking tour of this historic district . Later , admire Paris from another vantage point during a guided river cruise tour along the Seine .

DAY 16 • Paris
Hop on the Metro to enjoy a discovery walk through one of your Trip Experience Leader ’ s favorite districts in Paris . Afterwards , you ’ ll have free time to explore on your own .

DAY 14 • Lyon • WWII Resistance walking tour Delve into Lyon ’ s role as capital of the French Resistance during World War II on a walking tour . You ’ ll learn about some of the key figures of the period and stroll through Lyon ’ s traboules , the secret passageways used by Resistance fighters to escape the Gestapo .
