Not only does overfishing affect the citizens lifestyle but also the economy of the countries because the destruction of reefs with result in habitat destruction that exacerbates overfishing by reducing fishable area and productivity. The destruction of coral reefs because of overfishing and exploitation also affect tourism (1). For example damaged coral reefs can reduce the demands for people visiting the particular location in which these magnificent reefs are found and when the reefs are damaged less people will be coming and the island or country will lose money.
