DCO and DCOS Frocked At Division 15 Change of Watch

Fellowship is one of the cornerstones of the Auxiliary and it was on full display at the Change of Watch held on November 12, 2022 at the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls, New York. This was the first Change of Watch for the Division held since 2019.
Presided over by Division Commander( DCDR) Gary Slusher, the event drew 62 a�endees from five Flotillas in Division 15 as well as guests. United States Coast Guard guests included Captain Marc
Sennick, Sector New York Deputy Commander; BMCS Dwayne Ma�hews, Officer In Charge( OIC) Station Burlington, VT; BMCS Ryan Burger, OIC USCGC WIRE; BMC Ma�hew Degnon, OIC Aids to Navigation( ANT) Saugerties; BMC Sean Smith, OIC ANT Burlington; and BM1 Andrew Ballone and wife Kristen, XPO ANT Burlington.
Special guests on the Auxiliary side included Commodoreelect Michael West and his wife Cynthia; District Chief of Staffelect Michael Klacik; District Captain-elect Sector New York- North Michael Raffel; District Directorate Chief of Logistics
Sherry Kisver and District Chief Investigator Steve Kisver.
Sworn in as the DCDR-elect was Seth Hopkins and Robert Bernier as Vice DCDR-elect along with the Flotilla and Vice Flotilla Commanders for the ensuing year.
The highlight of the evening was remarks by Captain Sennick and the swearing in of Commodore-elect Mike West and District Chief of Staff-elect Michael Klacik. Captain Sennick gave the oath of office to both. Both Mike’ s were then“ frocked” with Commodoreelect West being given his new shoulder boards by his wife
