Needless to say, I joned the Auxiliary as a member with Flotilla 74 in Stamford CT. I qualified as boat crew. In addition, being interested in radio I became qualified as TCO and FSO-CM. I became qualified as a Harbor Safety Officer and conducted numerous HARPAT missions, and became qualifed as a Program Visitor. I was honored to assist during Fleet Week in NY City giving tours aboard the USCGC Lawrence Lawson (in 2019) and the USCGC Richard Snyder (in 2018). When I was given the chance to sail aboard the USCGC Eagle during her transit from the Statue of Liberty to Pier 86, I jumped on it. And, once docked, I volunteered with the PA special events team giving tours aboard. Other missions include participating at Kids Week on the Intrepid, the Norwalk Boat Show and the New York Boat Show.
