JFC - Jay's Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
2 Cups White Flour
“TS = Tablespoon”
2/3 TS Salt
1/2 TS Thyme
½ TS Basil
1/3 TS Oregano
1 TS Celery Salt
1 TS black Pepper
1 TS Dried Mustard
4 TS Paprika
2 TS Garlic Salt
1 TS Ground Ginger
3 TS White Pepper
MSG ½ Teaspoon per pound of chicken used
Directions:
A famed restaurant today adds MSG so if you want the exact flavor of a restaurant you need the MSG on the chicken
Use Vegetable or Corn oil to fry it in “Corn is preferred”, each side 6 to 7 mins at 350 degrees.
If cooking it Kosher dip the chicken in a egg batter before dipping in flour
If not cooking it Kosher, then try a Sanders dipped in a buttermilk egg batter before dipping in the flour
