By the end of the week, Auxiliarists signed up 57 potential students for the About Boating Safety certification classses, 11 boaters signed up for free vessel exams, 33 visitors were interested in joining the Auxiliary, as well as 16 prospective Coast Guardsman and women, and 4 prospective Coast Guard Academy cadets. Auxiliarists familiarized new boaters with the federal and state boating requirements and latest regulations. Boat show attendees left knowing the Coast Guard Auxiliary is ready for its mission to support recreational boating safety and is Semper Paratus.
