Staff Officer College Offers Blueprint for Leadership and Advancement

The Staff Officer College , held on January 20 , 2024 , at SUNY Maritime College , was a resounding success for the District One Southern Region , marking a significant milestone in professional development and learning for Auxiliarists . With an impressive turnout , the event saw 214 registrations , with 154 dedicated members a�ending . The SOC was also live streamed via YouTube . The high level of engagement underscores the Auxiliarists ' keen interest in advancing their leadership skills and knowledge in their respective roles .
Designed to enrich the Auxiliarists ' understanding and capabilities , the Staff Officer College offered a variety of modules tailored to both seasoned and aspiring leaders . The curriculum included insightful topics such as " The Red A ," " Staff Officer Tool Bag ," " Role Model & Mentoring ," " Staff Officer Advancement ," and " Duties of a Staff Officer ." These modules were meticulously developed to cater to the evolving needs of our members , aiming to foster professional growth and effective leadership within the organization .
