President’s message
At DCC, collaboration and teamwork have always been key to our success. We know
this. We expect this. And it has consistently resulted in innovative solutions that meet –
and often exceed – the expectations of our Client-Partners.
That’s why our National Awards program is so important to DCC. The creativity
and flexibility that are essential to our service, and to our ultimate success, come
from our people. The National Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate your
accomplishments, and to show our gratitude for the work you do to solve challenges,
deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness, and ensure our value to each of our
stakeholders.
As you read some of last year’s nominations highlighted here, you’ll find that
collaboration shines through in each of them. This has been such a critical
quality for DCC that, recently, we added Collaboration to our existing values of
Dedication, Competence and Fairness, officially recognizing its importance to our
organizational values.
Collaboration takes many forms, as the nominees for our National Awards program
demonstrate. They sit down with our Client-Partners in a spirit of cooperation and
shared values, for example, to identify obstacles and analyze options. They seek input
from our valued contractors and industry representatives to ensure that we deliver
the best possible service, each and every time, on each and every project. And they
willingly share their own expertise and professional experience with their colleagues,
so that individual strengths become team strengths.
Furthermore, their collaborative spirit has been noticed, by their colleagues – the
people they work beside, who are also their nominators – and by our Client-Partners,
whose praise reflects the value that DCC offers.
For the spirit of collaboration and innovation that you as DCC employees across each
