De-badging
Ok its fairly simple and totally changes the look of the car.
What you will need.
1. a few rags
2. Prepwash / bug and tar remover or similar product
3. Fishing line. or Dentle Floss.
4. Whatever polish you normally use.
5. (optional) Heat gun
Now an easier way of doing this, is to heat up the badge slightly which will loosen up the glue that holds it on, this will make it much easier to get off the badge. Alternatively if you leave you car in the sun while its hot for a while it serves the same purpose.
1. Get a length of fishing line, about 30-50cm should do, and wrap it around a finger on each hand, then align the line behind the badge and using a sawing motion, start to saw away at the glue behind the badge with the fishing line, if you keep the fishing line as close to the car panel as possible it will leave less glue on the car to get off later.
2. Once the badge is off you will be left with the black gluey residue that they use to attach the badges to the car, I used turtle wax bug and tar remover on mine and let it sit for about 1 minute, i then attacked the residue with a rag, it may take a few hard scrubs with the rag to get it all off but if you repeat this step once or twice you should get it all off.
3. Give the area a quick polish and voila, looks like nothing was ever there.
