How they help the community
What they did:
In June, ICOMM/GLD donated books to Frank McKeckenie, the community center next to our school.
More Information:
They donated a variety of books like chapter books, picture books, magazines and more to the library. This donation was an act of kindness. Now families with a library card for Frank McKeckenie can read these books. In total, they donated 238 books.
Why they chose to do it:
They chose to donate the books because it's local and it benefits the students in our school. Also, people in our community can afford books so this would be a free service.
What did your class do:
Each student in ICOMM/GLD was encouraged at least one book. Overall we donated 238 books to Frank McKecknie library with resources going directly to our school commmunity.
