International parts of the Sportkunde Curriculum 2018-19

Year 1
Semester 1: Ardennes week
Year 2
Semester 3: Proactive student activities *
Semester 4: Great North Run Management Game
Year 3
Semester 5: West Ham United Management Game Winter School
Semester 6: Minor / specialization:- Erasmus +
A week focussed on teamwork and working on projects situated in Belgium.
For students with a well organised plan and good grades room for international activities can be created.
Change in the Sportskunde Curriculum. Only possible in semester 3.
A week focussed on international cooperation within international student groups. Participating universities are for instance from England, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Belgium.
A week focussed on time management within international student groups. Participating universities are for instance from England, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Belgium. A week in Austria focussed on the different graduation profiles in a winter sports setting with international and local speakers and programmes focussed on, for instance, entrepreneurship abroad.
- Entrepreneurship and innovation in an international context.
Change in the Sportskunde Curriculum. Minor / specialization is now in semester 6.
- Pre-master **
- Following a pre-master of a full year which is needed to participate in an international master.
Year 4
Semester 7: Graduation project( part 1)
Semester 8: Graduation project( part 2)
- Participating and doing research in an international context in order to write a final thesis.
- Execute the findings of your thesis in an international context.
Change in the Sportskunde Curriculum. Graduation project is now a full year( year 4).
New part of the Sportkunde Curriculum.
* Proactive student activities can take place during every phase of the curriculum in year 1 until 4. ** Be noticed that a pre-master takes a full year and causes a study delay.
