Just across the Dutch border there is the German city called Oldenburg. The Carl von Ossietzky University is within walking distance of the city centre and has a modern equipped campus. Next to the classes you can enjoy of multiple sport facilities such as its swimming pool, sauna, fitness and health centre.
The faculty‘ Human and Social Sciences’ will provide classes for an exchange semester. The institution of Sport Science is part of this faculty. You can put together your own program. An academic advisor( who will be assigned to you) can help you on this. Your German proficiency needs to be as good as your English( minimum of B1), because the primary language of the classes is German. The current course catalogue can be seen here. The fourth partnership in Germany is with the Heilbronn University. The university has multiple locations through the area, including one in Künzelsau. This large town lies at the northeast of Heilbronn( about 40 kilometres away) and owns a beautiful university building. The faculty of‘ Engineering and Business’ is located here. It includes the bachelor program‘ Business Administration and Culture, Leisure, Sports Management’.
As exchange student you can choose your own classes at Heilbronn University. Some of the lectures are taught in English, but most is held in German.
