Introduction
Hanze University of Applied Sciences has a strong focus on internationalisation. The Institute of Sport Studies has its own key points in terms of internationalisation which follow the overall focus. We want our students to be prepared to function in an internationally orientated society. Globalisation can be seen throughout society and both physical and online mobility increase the international reach of individuals and organisations.
Therefore the Institute of Sport Studies focusses on providing opportunities for its students to experience working and studying in an international context, preferably even physically abroad. This magazine aims to inform students on the possibilities inside and outside the curriculum in terms of gaining international experience.
Both majors of ALO and Sportkunde have coordinators focussed on internationalisation and there is an active student-organised community called ISBS( International Student Board Sport studies) which offers all kinds of assistance in sending students to interesting partner organisations abroad.
If you have any questions or ideas about your own potential international path while studying, do not hesitate to contact us.
We look forward hearing from you!
